Variable speed rotor mill PULVERISETTE 14

Universal mill for rapid grinding of medium-hard to soft materials as well as of temperature-sensitive materials. Even samples which are difficult to grind can be grinded by means of embrittling to analysis fineness. Dispersing and homogenising of dry samples is also part of the application areas.

 

Typical fields of application:

Soft materials like plants, wood, roots, leaves, coniferous needles, spices, textiles, leather, chemicals, foodstuffs, grains, cellulose, fillers, chalk, kaolin, coal, soils (without stones).

 

Medium-hard samples like pharmaceuticals, dragées, tablets, fertilizers, pellets, fodder

 

Temperature-sensitive samples can be ground, because of the rapid, effective grinding, the heat absorption of the material is reduced.

 

Materials which are difficult to grind such as styrene, polyester, plastics, foils, PVC, PP and PE.

 

RoHS-test for grinding of electronic units, plastic and glass.

 

Method of operation:

The rapid size reduction and the universal use is due to the extremely high rotational speed of the cutting rotor.

In addition, the sharp-edged teeth and the sieve insert reduce the sample by shearing.
