Pre-assembled and pre-sterilized disposable filter units and disposable filter funnels with membranes that can easily be removed for culture or analysis. Filter cup with 100-ml mark.

The CN membrane guarantees excellent capture and good growth of microorganisms. The 0.45-µm CN membrane is officially certified in the USA and Germany for use in water quality testing.

(1) Analytical filter units, Type A (150 ml), made of polystyrene with CN membrane

The upper separates easily from the lower allowing simple removal of the membrane using sterile tweezers. Side arm with quick-disconnect tubing adapter. 47-mm membrane.

(2) Analytical filter funnel, Type A, made of polystyrene with CN membrane

For filtering food samples, drinks and (waste) water in combination with aspirators or vacuum manifolds. The upper separates easily from the lower allowing simple removal of the membrane. Sterile packed in shrink packaging. Adapter included with every package.

(3) Analytical filter funnel made of polystyrene with CN membrane

Ideal for use with filtering flasks or manifolds. Particularly useful for large volume analytical applications (as long as the membrane continues to flow). Convenient snap-away design with removable membrane. Safer and easier to use than cumbersome glass and metal funnels. Each package contains a NALGENE vacuum gasket to replace a stopper or adapter with 14.3 mm or larger opening. Sterile / graduated.

Analytical filter units and filter funnels with 0,45-µm cellulose nitrate membranes come with an official certificate for water analysis, i.e. production and material comply with following standards:

APHA, 14th Edition, Chapter 909 A, B, C.
U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act, P.C. 93-253 and
further requirements of the EPA.
